Our Story
Wes and Leanna Sheley, Co-Founders of Unhindered Faith, were raised in California in a unique pastor's home. As young kids, they experienced their parents walk through a difficult "church hurt" situation. Their parents demonstrated through their healing an unwavering faith. Even though their parents never stepped back into full-time ministry in a local church, they remained faithful in ministry. Their love for God and others set an example that has brought them to where they are today.

Co-Founder
When Wes was six, he felt a call into ministry while listening to Rich Wilkerson. At a middle school camp, that call was reinforced, and at a youth convention during his senior year of high school, God put a stamp on that call. Now Wes is the Co-Founder of Unhindered Faith and has a desire to help individuals realize that no matter what we face in life, we can continuously walk with an Unhindered Faith in a God who is Unhindered. Wes grew up struggling with severe depression and suicidal thoughts. As he got older, those thoughts were less and less; however, through many trials in life, from the loss of both parents, his wife with multiple sclerosis, and a few hurts in his years of ministry, Wes has learned that it is possible to walk through the pain in this world with an Unhindered Faith.

Through life with an Unhindered Faith, Wes’ personal experiences have led him to a deep desire to help others find that same faith. As someone who understands the struggles of depression and loss, Wes has a compassionate heart and the ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life. His extensive ministry experience has allowed him to share his message of hope and faith in various settings. Wes’ ultimate goal is to inspire and encourage others to embrace an Unhindered Faith in God, no matter what challenges they may face.

Leanna Sheley
Co-Founder
At age three, Leanna would wake her dad up early on Sunday mornings, excited because it was time to pick the kids up for church. Their dad was a children’s pastor and had a bus ministry, and she couldn’t wait to pick the kids up for church. Her dad would remind her of this often over the years to remind her that God had placed evangelism in her heart at such a young age. Leanna was in first grade when their parents were devastated by a church, and their dad stepped away from full-time ministry. It didn’t take long before their parents began to use the situation as a teaching opportunity. The lesson they taught has stayed with them throughout life’s ups and downs – no matter what man does to you, never let someone come between your relationship with the Lord. Relationship and Faith were the two words instilled at a very young age.

Leanna has had her share of struggles with depression, co-dependency, abusive relationships, divorce, and the loss of both parents, to name a few. None of which left her feeling like a victim. Walking with Jesus leaves no room for being a victim – through Christ, we are Victorious (Romans 8:37).

Leanna believes that Unhindered Faith is something that every believer should be reaching towards. Everyone goes through their moments of doubt and disappointment, but when our eyes are focused on the Lord, we can find the strength to live a life with Unhindered Faith. In 2022, Leanna stepped out in faith and started her own business, Uncommon Business Services. Since then, she has continued to grow her business but has also stepped by faith into some rather unique arenas to grow her knowledge in building a successful business, developing her leadership skills, and really leaning into the Word, believing that as believers, we can not only have Unhindered Faith, but we can be unhindered in every aspect of life if we have the right resources and knowledge. This journey has birthed a desire to help other Christian business owners build their businesses so they can build their families, communities, and the church.
